Services

The Hispanic Cancer Health Foundation provides an array of services to help our community. Donations to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization helps us drive scientific innovation and discovery, and transform the future of cancer medicine research and healthcare for generations to come. Financial support and contributions to our nonprofit public charity organization enables HCHF to meet our goals and improve the health of Hispanics suffering from cancer. Cancer as a Chronic Disease - When you connect with us as a cancer-survivor &/or family member, we serve confidentially and in a culturally sensitive manner. Our Promotor(a) de Salud or Community Health Worker (CHW) is a person who helps connect people in our Hispanic community with healthcare and social services through our Centros de Comunidad por Salud Oncologica. Our Promotor(a)s or CHWs understand our culture, language, and life experiences of the people we serve. CHWs help individuals suffering from cancer find the services they need and strengthen the community as a whole. Our CHWs provide information about cancer health, help people become more independent, and offer support through activities like outreach, guiding patients/survivors, teaching about cancer health, giving informal advice, and assisting in patient information gathering and evaluation.
Clinical Research
Funds donated to the Hispanic Cancer Health Foundation go directly to HCHF scholar support services, training and programs that serve students and the HCHF Health Research Scholars working in oncology and health research in cancer medicine.
